About Me

Hey! I'm Kaitlyn S, a seventeen year old girl in high school.  I'm a follower of Christ and don't mind being called a "Jesus Freak" at all.  Because in all honesty I'd actually like it!  I have one incredible family! Two amazing parents and my 13 little siblings.  Yes, I'm the eldest child.
I spend most of my free time with a camera in my hand or my fingers typing away on my many blogs.
My hobby is photography and my passion is in advocating for orphans with Down syndrome and other disabilities that are located in eastern Europe and Asia.

I've become obsessed with help orphans find their forever families and help families bring them home.  I'm a member of the growing website Miracle Mission Squared along with one of my best friend's Alyssa G. :)  Together we make a pretty amazing team!  We hold fundraisers online monthly to help families adopting children with disabilities.  Although most call children with Down syndrome a burden, we call them blessings with Down Right Perfect!

Leaving a Legacy of My Faith is a personal blog of mine to help share my stories with my friends, distant family and blog followers.  Jesus Christ gave His life for me so I want to do the same for Him, and give Him my life to use in His ways.  It's like I often say, life is like a game of "follow the leader" and Jesus Christ is the leader of my life that I want to follow.

I'm excited to share with everyone a little bit of my life and what God's taught me.  This blog is how I can be a missionary to others right now.
